Loxwood Football Club are delighted to announce details of their first Spring Football In The Community Programme.

Football Mini World Cup

Harnessing the enthusiasm generated by the FIFA World Cup being staged in South Africa this year, Chichester District Council have established their very own Football Mini World Cup programme.

The scheme invites local primary schools to adopt a country participating in the real Football World Cup and take part in their own fun competition. Each school will design their own kit, learn about other cultures and receive lessons on respect and sportsmanship, healthy living and bullying.

Free football coaching sessions for the pupils will also allow the players to prepare for the football tournament being held at Loxwood Sports Association Recreation Ground on Wednesday 24 March 2010 starting at 10:00, This event will feature colourful opening and closing ceremoonies and spectators are more than welcome.
