Fri. 13 May '16
PRESENTATION NIGHT

To mark both the first ever FA Cup tie to be played at Plaistow Road, along with the exciting merger between the club and Kirdford Junior FC, we were delighted to be able to welcome the Emirates FA Cup trophy to Loxwood, with the festivities kindly supported by James Paul cars.

Flanked by two of the Football Association's security guards, the trophy arrived at Plaistow Road ahead of the Preliminary Round match against fellow SCFL Premier Division side Arundel.

A bumper attendance were all given the opportunity pre-match to have their photo taken with the historic piece of silverware and it was even allowed (appropriately supervised) into the home dressing room ahead of the pre-match routine.

In celebration of the recently confirmed merger to swell the Club's youth section, the senior Magpie players were escorted to the pitch by some of U8, U9 and U10 players who were all sporting the traditional Kirdford Junior yellow and black stripes, which have now been adopted throughout the Club as it's change strip.

Understandably the above provided ample opportunity for some historic pictures to be taken and a selection of those can be found below.
