The Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Dave Cocoracchio as First Team Manager and Matt Camp & Gareth Neathey as his two Assistant Managers.
Dave (above centre) stepped in as interim Manager in March after Mark Beard's move to Brighton & Hove Albion and over the course of the last nine games he guided the side to a record equalling 6th place finish in the Premier Division. This marked Dave's return to a role that he reluctantly stood down from at the end of the 2014/15 campaign that was, without doubt, the most successful in The Magpies' history where an identical finish in the league was achieved with just 3 defeats and was accompanied by runs to the final of the RUR Cup and the semi-finals of both the County and League Cups.
Matt (above left) is a long-standing servant of the Club, having joined in 2008 and recently managing the Reserve Team to promotion in 2014/15 and the Under 21 team to the divisional title in 2015/16. Last season saw him support the Senior Management Team under Mark Beard and he had no hesitation in taking on a Assistant's role when offered it.
Gareth (above right) has plenty of experience of this league as a player, most notably with Crawley Down Gatwick and Oakwood, and has become an integral part of the Club's youth structure over the past three seasons through both his coaching and management. He takes on this role in addition to being part of the team that will take charge of our new Under 18 side.
The new Management Team have already put together their plans for the forthcoming pre-season along with the organisational foundation that will under-pin an on-field campaign that all at The Club are very excited about.
Chairman, Barry Hunter, said:
"Dave is a natural appointment for the Club and he picks up from where he left off in the 2014/15 season. I have absolutely no doubt he will lead a team that will be organised, talented and highly competitive. Whilst the Club will progress ambitions off the park, I have no doubt that Dave will continue to progress performance on the park. We are all looking forward to next season."
