PRESENTATION NIGHT

The Club have a coaching vacancy within their Under 18 Team set-up

The Magpies are very proud of their recent success in the Under 18 age group, having won back-to-back County Under 18 Cups in 2015 and 2016 and the reputation the Club has built for developing young talent was evident in the recent trials that were extremely well attended and from which a very promising squad has been formed. Due to a recent restructure of duties within the senior set-up we are now looking for a high-calibre coach to help grow this standing even further.

The appointed coach will work directly with the Under 18 Manager, Nathan Peppercorn, and is expected to lead training and be available to support Nathan at matches. This season our Under 18 side is competing in the Combined Counties Under 18 League, which is a midweek competition on varying days of the week and training will also take place midweek, predominantly on Thursdays alongside the 1st Team. As such, any applicants are expected to be available on midweek evenings. There are no weekend games aside from the Sussex County FA Under 18 Cup, which takes place on Sunday mornings, but is only once a month depending upon how far the side progresses.

Whilst the focus of the coach will be on the Under 18 side, there will be the opportunity to work with the 1st Team at training as both sides will often train at the same time, and for part of some sessions, as one group. Training is currently at the club's home ground, but will move to the Broadfield 3G in Crawley during the Autumn.

Given the high standards that we have at the Club in relation to the development of all our players, applicants should ideally hold a Level 2 qualification in Coaching Football or at least Level 1 with a clear commitment to working towards Level 2, which the Club are prepared to assist with.

For more information and/or to submit an application, please email contact@lfcsenior.co.uk or contact Director of Football, Dave Cocoracchio on 07703 650877
